Wisconsin is a"Right to Choose" State

Motor Vehicle Glass Practices; restriction on specifying vendor (Wisconsin Statue 632.37)
An insurer that issues a motor vehicle insurance policy covering the repair or replacement of motor vehicle glass may not require, as a condition of that coverage, that the insured, or a 3rd party, making a claim under the policy for the repair or replacement of motor vehicle glass obtain services or parts from a particular vendor, or in a particular location, specified by the insurer.

Auto Glass Networks
Many insurance companies in Wisconsin use a separate company or network for their auto glass claims program. Most of these organizations are telephone call centers who employ individuals who do not have a detailed understanding of auto glass replacement needs.

When using a network, make sure your contact chooses an auto glass repair company who uses the original manufacturers' (OEM) glass and adhesives and employs master installers. If this person does not know the company's qualifications, please call Omni Auto Glass directly. If you experience any resistance from the network, or if they try to coerce you in to using their recommended auto glass replacement company, contact your insurance agent immediately. He or she will want to know how you have been treated.
